IHTM29057 - Enquiry plans: reviews

It is not necessary to complete the various progress review forms for enquiries opened after 22 March 2004. However for audit purposes it is still necessary to show that the appropriate reviews have been completed. This section is designed for that purpose and investigators and managers will enter the date that the review was completed. The benefit of an up to date enquiry plan on an enquiry that is progressing well is that only minimal input will be required from the caseworker or manager.

If you are working a case opened before 1999 it will not be classified as an enquiry. A pre 1999 case can not be registered on ERS ( IHTM29100). Progress will be monitored at six monthly intervals, using the form ‘CAP 2’
