IHTM29024 - Enquiries: changing enquiry types

In some cases you will not have enough information to be certain at the outset what type of enquiry you have. The enquiry will usually begin as an 'other' ( IHTM29023) enquiry. As circumstances change, you should reassess the position. You must consult your team leader to change the enquiry to a full enquiry ( IHTM29022) if at any stage you believe that it now falls within this category.

When the enquiry type changes you must note the change on both ERS ( IHTM29100) and the enquiry plan ( IHTM29051).

You can only move the enquiry up, from ‘'other' to ‘full’. You cannot move the enquiry down.
