IHTM23189 - Special valuation matters: lease
for life
There are three different situations which may lead to a lease
for life. These are where
- a lease is reserved by the transferor or
granted (
IHTM23190) to him by the transferee in
fulfilment of a condition
- a lease is granted gratuitously (
IHTM23191)
- occupation of settled property amounts (
IHTM23192) to a lease for life
