If on receiving a form 984 the tax office requires further
information from this office they will complete and return form
982. The form will ask for copies of the papers that we may have on
our files.
All form 982’s are sent to RRLT in Nottingham who will
record the receipt of the form, stamp it as recorded and pass it on
to place with the file. If you receive a 982 without a stamp you
should return it to RRLT.
Designated people in your team will be responsible for
dealing with the request.
