IHTM08025 - Allocation of new cases: teamworking

Throughout TSB work is undertaken on a teamworking basis, as opposed to being worked by an individual member of staff. Work from the ‘Day Rack’ is handed out to the team members on a daily basis (weekly in Edinburgh), in accordance with the Planning and Forecasting Work (PFW) plan.

You will receive a case to undertake a specific task on that case. To ensure that it is clear what work is to be done, and enable other caseworkers to understand a new case in the minimum possible time, you should follow the file management ( IHTM08201) guidance. Once you have completed the current tasks on the case you will return the case for storage until the next task is due. At that time any member of your team may deal it with.

If you feel there is a good reason why you should continue to work a particular case you should discuss this with your team leader.
