IDG67580 - Police: Disclosing information to the police as part of a Local Authority Crime Reduction and Safety Partnership

Crime Reduction and Safety Partnerships have been set up in certain geographical locations, as provided by the Crime and Disorder Act 1998. Local police are often represented in these partnerships, and if HMRC is signed up as a partner, there may be scope to disclose information to local police in limited circumstances.
