The name and address of a claimant’s employer should not
be provided routinely
. If DWP (or local authority) specifically request
the name and address of an employer, you may only disclose this if
the agreed stencil (see
IDG90200)
includes a satisfactory explanation showing the reason this
information is needed and how it is to be used.
