Finance lessors: legal expenses of negotiating a lease

Two issues arise:

• are legal expenses incurred in negotiating a finance lease revenue or capital in nature - see FLM40.03

• if they are revenue in nature, when are they deducted for tax purposes - see FLM40.15.
