Ongoing issues during currency of lease

Three main issues arise during the currency of a lease. These are the consequences of:

• the lease being a capital asset - see FLM12.62 onwards;

• the depreciation method, including change in rate under SSAP21 - see FLM12.65 onwards;

• the lease being reclassified - see FLM12.72 onwards.
