Suppliers need to be approved by the Gambling Commission (GC)
and must hold a certificate which is renewable every 5 years. They
are subject to regular inspection visits by the GC compliance staff
who must be satisfied that they are, and remain, fit and proper
persons. AMLD compliance is one of the criteria that may be used in
the ‘fit and proper test’.

Commission Certification
Before anyone can sell, supply and / maintain machines they
must hold a certificate under the Gambling Act 2005 issued by the
GC.
