ECPIT1060 - Introduction:
responsibility of the Local Control Staff
The Local Control Staff are responsible for:
- devising control procedures which ensure
that claims to Turkish preference have been dealt with
properly
- running accounts of transactions under
standing guarantees are being properly controlled, and that the
arrangements for dealing with movement certificates lodged in
confidence are satisfactory (
ECPIT5030) and
- taking charge of any investigations
required under
ECPIT3060 to arrange for the relevant
Investigation Unit to take over or to liaise with other Local
Control Staff where enquires have to be pursued elsewhere.
