Traders who wish to withhold from importers or agents
information contained in movement certificates, may lodge them at
the National Clearance Hub at Salford at the address shown below:

Each movement certificate clearly marked
'LODGED IN CONFIDENCE' is to be given a lodgement
number and the person lodging it is to be advised that this number
is to be quoted on the entry.
The movement certificate is to be held in the National
Clearance Hub and is to be attached to the entry when it becomes
available.
The entry is then to be processed in the normal manner.
Particular care is to be taken to ensure that unauthorised persons
do not gain access to information contained in movement
certificates lodged in confidence.
