ECH3040 - ECTM Duties: Planning, Targets and Use of Resources
Planning
The ECTM
- must play an active role in agreement with the ECUM of the team’s
- contribution to the overall Office Compliance Plan, and
- objectives and targets.
The ECTM is then responsible for ensuring delivery of those objectives and targets within the constraints of time, resources and cost.
Targets
Employer Compliance targets are agreed on a National, Regional and Area level on a yearly basis. Measurement of performance against those targets will be recorded on ECS.
Effective use of resources
The ECTM should
- monitor the use of resources within the team
- ensure that the team is in a position to achieve the required level of performance
- follow the guidance at ECH3045 in agreeing the programme of Reviews
- ensure that ECOs observe the instructions at ECH2035
- ensure that ECOs make the appropriate use of
- the ACO and
- the CSO.
