ECH3535 - ECUM Duties: Level of Authorisation and Decision Making
It is essential that EC staff are aware of the correct levels of authority. The ECUM should
- ensure all their teams are aware that
- all settlements must be concluded formally,
- authorised at the appropriate level and
- all submissions must be approved by the ECUM
The ECUM must also ensure that staff are aware of when
- to use their own discretion
- issues must be referred to the ECUM, for example potential complaints, penalty cases and so on
