ECH3508 - ECUM Duties: Planning and Targets

The ECUM is responsible, in negotiation with managers and staff, for production of the Unit Compliance Plan. The plan will be based on targets agreed with the Area Director.

The plan should

• ensure business objectives are met
• be flexible and suit local conditions
• make realistic appraisal of the staff and resources available
• identify all the areas of work where action by Employer Compliance is necessary and appropriate
• bear in mind interaction of the ECU with other work areas.
