ECH22570 - Yield Recording: Court Costs

Where it has been necessary to obtain a protective claim for National Insurance Contributions, court costs will have been incurred, ECH22131. The ECO must seek to recover the court costs

• as part of the contract settlement or
• alongside a Section 8 decision for the National Insurance

The amount of court costs should be claimed as ‘additional charge’ on ECS.
