ECH1035 - Introduction: Large Business Service (Employer Compliance), LBS(EC)

LBS(EC) are responsible for conducting reviews of certain, mainly large employers. An ECU may conduct such a review only where authority has been granted by LBS(EC). I

It may not always be practicable to examine all records in a single review. In these cases LBS(EC) will give permission to undertake an Aspect Review.

There are some cases which are worked jointly between the LBS(EC) and the Network ECU. All the necessary checks for a Full review are covered jointly by the offices involved. Where the Network ECU carries out a wide range of checks they should

• obtain permission from SDS to classify the case as a Full review on (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000)
