ECH10020 - Employer Support Team: When Advice will be Provided to Local Compliance
The EST will provide technical advice to Local Compliance on all employment related matters. Some examples of the areas in which the EST will provide help are

- Directors loan accounts
- Entertaining
- Readily Convertible Assets - NIC aspects
- Salary Sacrifice
- Funded Unapproved Retirement Benefit Schemes (FURBS)
- Relocation expenses
- NIC Earnings periods
- Accommodation/Property
- Pensions
- Car schemes
- Employee Car Ownership Schemes and
- Fixed Profit Car Schemes
- Residency
- Private family trusts
- Share Schemes
- NIC issues
- Benefits (misc.)
- Statutory payments
- Regulation 80/Section 8 Notices.
The EST will only accept a referral if all possible attempts to
resolve the query have already been made by the team making the
referral.
The Manager in the Customer Group making the referral is
responsible for making sure that referrals made to the EST are
complete and necessary (
ECH6045).
