The decision maker should decide if the applicant or partner is
a student (DMG39005). The decision maker should treat
1) a child (DMG11057), who is a student as a member of the
applicant's family
and
2) treat any grant or other student related income they have
as in DMG39101+.
Note The decision maker cannot treat a student aged 16-18,
other than the applicant or partner, as a member of the family
because that person is not a young person (DMG11058). The decision
maker should ignore any grant or student related income they
have.
