Changes in earnings during the last three months: Jury Service

Where the applicant is on jury service at the date of application, earnings will be assessed

• for the weekly paid, over the 5 weeks immediately preceding the date the jury service started

• for the monthly paid, over the two months immediately preceding the date the jury service started

No provision is made in legislation for other pay frequencies. For the sake of consistency, use the usual assessment period that immediately precedes the date jury service started
