Value: capital of a company

The value that the person is treated as possessing is

  • all the value if the person is a sole owner and
  • a share of the value if the person is treated as a partner.

Note the partner's share above is the same fraction of shares that he owns in the company. eg a person who has 40 shares out of 100 shares in a company has a two fifths share of the value.
