Calculation of capital value
The decision maker will need a precise valuation if
- there is a complaint, dispute or appeal or
- the capital is valued by the applicant at
£2,500 or more
or
- the decision maker has reason to believe that
the total capital of either the applicant and any partner, or a
child or young person of the family, may exceed £3,000.
