If the
balance of covenant income at DMG39211 is the same as, or
less than, the amount of the appropriate standard maintenance grant
the decision maker should
1)
deduct from the balance the amounts for books and travel
included in the standard maintnance grant,
or the amounts at Appendix 1 (DMG39310)
and
2) divide any amount remaining by the number of weeks in the
period of study and take it into account in the normal way
(DMG39313).
