A student's grant may include an amount intended for
1) the maintenance of one or more dependants, including any
adult dependant
or
an older student (one aged 26 or more at the start of the course)
For applications made before 01/09/00 the decision maker
should identify that amount in the amount calculated under
DMG39310. This amount has to be taken into account but should be
apportioned differently (DMG39313) from any other balance remaining
after the completion of the calculation in DMG39310.
