A course of higher education if it is
1) a first degree course
2) a course for the Diploma of Higher Education
a course for the further training of teachers or youth and community workers
a course for the HND or HNC of BTEC or ScotVEC
a course leading to an initial teacher training qualification including
5.1 the PGCE or
5.2 the Art Teacher's Certificate 5.3 the Art Teacher's Diploma 3) a course for which entry does not normally require a first degree (or equivalent) that
6.1a GCE A levels
6.1b Scottish highers 6.1c BTEC and ScotVEC National Awards (as district from HNC and HND) or
6.2 provides education of a standard higher than courses in 6.1 but not higher than that of a first degree course
