Particular kinds of self-employment: Share fishermen

Share fishermen are self-employed earners. But the share fisherman pays a higher rate Class 2 SS contribution. This sometimes qualifies him for JSA (Chapter 38, Appendix 2). Liability for class 4 contributions is the same.
