An expense has been reasonably incurred if DMG33206 2., 3. and 4. are satisfied. This includes an expense paid late or in advance. Most expenses have probably been reasonably incurred and the decision maker should not normally have to make further enquiries. But if the decision maker is not satisfied that the whole of an expense was reasonably incurred only the part considered reasonable should be allowed.
