Where the evidence about a particular item of expenditure is
unsatisfactory (DMG31306) the decision maker should note the
following
1) the decision maker should calculate normal weekly earnings
excluding that item
2) action as in
1. should not be taken until the applicant has been given a
suitable opportunity to provide the further evidence needed
3) the applicant should be told that the award has been
calculated as in
1. and
2.
action as
1.,
2. and
3. should also be taken where excluding an item of
expenditure on grounds of unsatisfactory evidence causes a claim to
be disallowed.
