Evidence of trading receipts and expenses: Evidence of estimated trading

There may be no written evidence to support an estimate of future trading. The estimate will probably have been based upon a short period of actual trading before the week of application. If the level of estimated or actual expenses is higher than would be expected from an established business the decision maker should find out whether the expenses of starting or expanding a business have been included in the expenses. These expenses cannot be allowed in the calculation of normal weekly earnings (DMG35109).
