Particular kinds of employment: Is the applicant a director

Because limited companies have to
1) keep proper accounting records and
2) prepare final accounts (which must be audited) for the year's trading

an applicant may produce the company's accounts as evidence of earnings. Those accounts would show that the business is a limited company and therefore it would be likely - but not certain - that the applicant was a director.
