Particular kinds of employment: Is the business a limited liability company

Each limited company is governed by two documents, the
1) Memorandum of Association - which contains the conditions governing the company's relationship with the outside world, for example its aims and intentions, its name and the address of its registered office and
2) Articles of Association - which govern the relationship between the shareholders and the company and between individual shareholders. It also contains clauses concerning the duties and powers of directors and may give information about wages or salary, particularly if a director has a specific job, such as marketing director.
