Most applicants who receive a training allowance will be on a
scheme organised and funded by the DfEE, for example TfW (Scotland
only - see below). The disregard can apply to income from other
similar programmes that are funded by the Single Regeneration
Budget from the Department of the Environment. The disregard will
apply if
1) the Single Regeneration Budget funding helps people to
select, train for, obtain and retain employment suitable to their
ages and capacities
and
2) the programme is approved by the local office of the
Department of the Environment
and
3) the income is a training premium (DMG24074).
