A qualifying course means a course which
1) helps the person to gain or enhance skills needed for
employment or seeking employment or a particular occupation (an
employment related course)
and
2) lasts no more than twelve consecutive months
and<<b> 3) is a course described in certain
legislation (Appendix 4)
Note Employment officers can decide that a course is a
qualifying course for an applicant even if it is above the level of
the courses at 3.
