Child care expenses reimbursed to the applicant should be
disregarded where
1) from 1/4/99, the reimbursement is in respect of the
applicant's participation in IAP (intensive activity period) in New
Deal 25+ Pilot,
OR
2) the reimbursement is made to a person on
any ND 18-24 option
Note 1 The disregard in
1. Above only applies for 52 weeks after the date of first
payment.
Note 2 ES child care reimbursements are allowances under
section 2(2)(d) of the Employment and Training Act and should
not be disregarded.
