A child who is under 16 at the date of application, and who has
left school, should be treated as a member of the applicant's
family. However, if the child's 16th birthday falls between the
date of application and the date of award
1) a credit or allowance for that child is not applicable
and
2) any earnings made by the child should not be taken into account.
