CTM80550 - Consortia: group relief: extension
to companies in same group as consortium member

Section 406 extends consortium relief so that relief may be
claimed from, and surrendered to, other companies in the same group
as a member of the consortium.
- A link company is a company that is a
member of a consortium and also a member of a group of
companies.
- A consortium company, in relation to a
'link company', means a company owned by the consortium of which
the 'link company' is a member.
- A group member, in relation to a 'link
company', means a company in the same group as the 'link company'.
Another company in the same group as the 'link company' which is
itself a member of the consortium cannot be a 'group member' for
this purpose.
