Suggested Answer 

Do not enter 'Y' in the Student Loans box on the form P45. The new employer will not then make any deductions. File away the Stop Notice.

HMRC action 

None, although the form P45 should be processed correctly using PAYE Service > In-Year Forms > Data Capture.

Note: When the form P45 is processed it will match with the taxpayer's NPS, PAYE Service record as neither of them will have the CSL indicator. No further action will be taken.
