COM42030 - Case records: amending case records: company addresses RLS

The address to which computer generated output is issued is decided as follows

• The Registered Office of a company
• If the Registered Office address is RLS, COTAX will issue the output to the communication address (Word 28KB), where held
• If both the Registered Office address and the communication address are RLS, the output is not issued

When no address is available, follow the guidance in the section ‘RLS Addresses’ (COM43000 onwards).

When a case with RLS addresses has output awaiting issue and a new address is entered on the record using

• Function ACNA (Amend Company Name / Address)
• Function ACAP (Add / Amend Acting In Capacity)

• Function ACOM (Amend Communication Details)

a prompt screen (TXP002T) is displayed which lists output to be issued manually. The list is printed off and passed to a Technical Caseworker or CT Co-ordinator to review the case and issue the output if necessary using Functions PPEN (Prepare Penalty Determination) or RAMA (Record / Amend Assessment) or, exceptionally, PAST (Prepare Full Assessment).
