CIRD12030 - Core computational rules: accounting: adjustments for tax purposes
FA02/SCH29/PARA136
The amounts that are to be brought into account for corporation tax under the core computational rules in FA02/SCH29 Parts 2 - 5 are normally said to be ‘subject to adjustment for tax purposes’. This expression is defined in paragraph 136 as any adjustment required:
- under the transfer pricing rules (see CIRD47060); or
- by any provision of Schedule 29 (see for example CIRD12580 for adjustments to sums written off in a company’s accounts as they are incurred).
An adjustment may be necessary on the change of accounting basis under FA02/SCH29/S116A see CIRD13070.
