Recent updates to the Compliance Handbook Manual

Below are details of the amendments that were published on 11 March 2009 (see the update index for all updates).

CH10000	Record Keeping This is consolidated technical guidance on record keeping requirements for direct taxes and VAT. There are some minor changes resulting from FA 2008 which, as yet, have no impact on the general requirements.
CH20000	Information & Inspection Powers Full technical guidance on the new powers introduced by Schedule 36 FA 2008. This guidance applies from 1 April 2009.
