CFM500a - Corporate Finance home page - information

Navigation

You can use a number of tools to navigate around the guidance.

Site map

The interactive site map lets you go directly to the part of the guidance you want, and shows how the parts relate to each other.

Search this manual

This tool allows you to search the whole of the Corporate Finance Manual.

Drop-down menus

Three menus allow you to move easily between different parts of the guidance.

Intranet search

If you use the intranet search tool, you may come across pages covering the same topic in both the Corporate Finance Manual and the Company Taxation Manual. The CFM guidance covers law and practice following FA 2002, and is distinguished by the following header at the top of every page of tax guidance.

This guidance describes the post-FA2002 taxation of loan relationships, derivative contracts and FOREX.

Home page

Clicking on the CFM Home logo, in the top left hand corner, will always take you back to the Corporate Finance home page.

Page navigation bar

Top  or bottom  takes you to the bottom or top of the page you are looking at.

Menu  takes you to the contents table of the topic you are looking at. Manual contents[G] takes you to the contents table at the next level. For example, if you were reading a page dealing with an aspect of 'loan relationships and connection', the Menu button would take you to the contents table for that topic. The Manual contents button would take you to the contents table for 'Taxing loan relationships'.

Previous page  takes you to the previous page in the guidance, even if you have not previously looked at that page. For example, if you are looking at CFM5801, you will always go to CFM5800 when you click this link. Use the 'back' button on Internet Explorer if, instead, you want to return to the page you last visited.

Next page  takes you to the next page in the document, even if you have not previously looked at that page.
