CCM7390 - Discrepancy Enquiries: Opening the Discrepancy Enquiry

You must always open your enquiry by:

• Sending the notice of enquiry to the claimant. If the claim was made by a couple, you must send a notice to each member of the couple, and
• Enclosing a copy of the WTC/FS1 on NTC Enquiries.

The following template opening letters must always be used:

TCC13A – where the income shown on finalised award does not match the information returned by the employer, see CCM21054

TCC13B – where the income shown on finalised award does not match the information held about income from employment and taxable benefits, see CCM21055

TCC13C – where the income shown on finalised award does not match the information held about income from taxable benefits, see CCM21056.
