If the claimant(s) asks for the award to be based on their estimated income for the current year instead, because they think their income has dropped, you should amend the award accordingly. You should write to the claimant(s) explaining what you are doing, using TCC18b at CCM21310. If the claim was made by a couple, you should send a copy of your letter to both members.
