CCM7090 - Discrepancy Examinations: Claimant(s) confirms your revised figure is correct

If the claimant(s) agrees your revised figure, you should write to them using TCC18a at CCM21300 explaining that you will be amending the award on the basis of the revised figure, and what the revised amount of tax credit will be.

You must always write to the claimant(s), even if you have spoken to them, and agreed the position, on the phone. If the claim was made by a couple, you should send a copy of your letter to each member. As soon as possible after you issue your letter you should amend the award details on NTC.
