CCM7030 - Discrepancy Examinations: Who this Section of the Guidance is intended for

The guidance in this section is intended for compliance staff in the CCC Preston/Washington, who will carry out straightforward, enabling compliance work.

It should not be used by CCOs in the Claimant Compliance Centre (CCC) carrying out full examinations, who should refer to the extensive guidance on opening, working and settling examinations provided in the appropriate sections of this manual. TCO compliance staff must follow the guidance in this section in all respects and at all stages of the examination.
