CCM6700 - Particular Aspects: Work & Hours - Employed Claimants – National Minimum Wage (NMW) section decide to re-open their review

If the National Minimum Wage NMW section decide to re-open their review and approach the employer again you should inform the claimant that you need to obtain further information from the employer before you can continue to examine the claim.

Your future course of action will depend on the results of the further NMW review, if the employer subsequently admits they did not properly operate NMW you should follow the guidance at CCM6680. If the employer continues to maintain NMW was properly operated, and their assurances are accepted, you should follow the guidance at CCM6710.
