CCM6410 - Particular Aspects: Child Care - Evaluating information from Child Care Providers
If the child care provider supplies you with information, either
on the phone or in response to an informal written request you
should evaluate it in accordance with Chapter 14 of the RIAM.
You should make a note of your conclusions on MIS records,
adding to or eliminating the identified risks as appropriate.
If the child care provider confirms the claimant’s
details, you will normally be able to eliminate any risks
associated with that aspect of the claim. Remember that even if you
are satisfied with the information from the provider, you will
still need to consider any other risks identified by the CCRO
before concluding your examination.
If the child care provider does not confirm the
claimant’s information see
CCM6420
