CCM14470 - Closing the Enquiry: Accounting procedures

Details of the various accounting procedures are contained in Chapter 8 of the CCM. Although Chapter 8 relates to examinations, the accounting procedures are the same for enquiries. If you are closing an enquiry you should refer to the guidance as follows:-

• preparing the payslip (Form 94A) – CCM8600 and CCM8660 - CCM8680
• manager's record of contract settlements – CCM8650
• default after acceptance of the offer – CCM8610
• alteration of charge after settlement – CCM8690
• receipt of cheque – non-contract settlement – CCM8700
• receipt of cheque – contract settlement – CCM8710
• payment on account of an expected contract settlement – CCM8720.
