CBTM06100 - Responsibility for a child or qualifying young person: Meaning of ‘week’

The Child Benefit week is a period of seven days beginning with a Monday. A week runs from midnight between Sunday & Monday. Entitlement for a child born on a Monday would not arise until the following Monday.

The entitlement conditions must be satisfied at the beginning of the week, so entitlement for a child born on a Monday would not arise until the following Monday.
