BIM61401 - Licensed houses: grant of licences

Licensing Justices are empowered to-

a) Grant new licences.

b) Renew existing licences.

c) Transfer a licence relating to particular premises from one person to another, and

d) Permit the `removal' of a licence from any premises, wherever situated, to any premises within their licensing district.

A licence lasts from the time it is granted until the end of the licensing year unless it is granted within the three months before the end of the licensing year in which case it lasts until the end of the following licensing year.
